Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
Pro Per
Hello;
Just looking for fair.
I am pro per and these are a few items I would like advice on. 1. The insurance adjuster for a Workers Comp claim and I had a conversation with me requesting a AMEs deposition be sent to two other QMEs, for all they have read was the AMEs reports. The deposition contradicts his reports. The Adjuster sent the three doctors my deposition, where the adjuster said I made a mistake. This could be thought as a mistake if it wasnt for two days later he sent the depositions to the doctors we had discussed. To me it was a lie. The defense Attorney was able to post her Declaration of Readiness (DOR) dated seven days later than mine, in my eyes to cover the Attorneys request for the QMEs Supplemental Report that was requested and received without my knowledge. I hope the Judge is unaware of some issues, one was the defense Attorney and I spoke at the DOR, and suddenly left the room to return with an offer of cutting me a check for two thousand and be done with it. The offer was a complete insult; Ive been fighting this for three years and three Attorneys.

Re: Pro Per
What you are experiencing is what many others experience when they try to handle their own case. The 15% you think you're saving in attorney's fees in most cases will propably be insignificant compared to what you may have received had you hired an attorney.
