Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
QME Report
My Bosstold me that my workmans comp Doctor findings Last August 2007, overrides my QME report that was done June 2nd. Please let me know. I have a meeting with my boss Tuesday Sept. 2nd. Thank you

I do not believe that your boss is an expert in workers' compensation, and I do not believe that you should be communicating with your boss about your medical reports.
What your boss told you is not true, in fact, the QME should have reviewed the workers' comp doctor's report. If the workers' comp doctor's report was issued subsequently to the QME, then the report should be forwarded to the QME doctor for his review so that he can issue a supplemental report commenting on the validity of the workers� comp doctor�s report.

This is not true. You may send the treating doctor's report to QME to get a supplemental report. If you need representation, call us at 213.388.7070.
