Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I'm receiving state disability do to a job related injury. If I settle my case with the insurance company will the EDD place a lien on my settlement or terminate my disability beneffits ? My doctor has already classified my condition permanent and stationary !

Why is the defendant not paying your temporary disability? Is your case denied or accepted? Who found you permanent and stationary? Was this the employer's doctor, or your doctor? It is difficult to address your question without knowing more details.

Your EDD benefits should be covered by your settlement agreement with your employer's worker's compensation carrier.
