Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

is there any recourse for job caused stress disorders and disability? I have been suffering from panic atacks, and severe anxiety as the result of demands form my company. Every company has a little different format, but I am doing the work that most of our competitors have two or three personal for.

You can make an industrial/on the job work injury claim, but since most psych cases are rejected you probably need to hire a WC applicants attorney.

In addition to Mr. Shers' answer, please be aware that when you file a stress claim, you are opening up your entire life to the insurance company via evaluating and treating physicians. They have a right to your past mental health, as well as alcohol and drug abuse records. I am not trying to discourage you from filing. You just need to be aware of what you are getting into.

Also, there are different legal hoops that you must just through for your claim to be accepted. I strongly encourage you to contact a workers' compensation attorney. You can find one in your area by going to the California Applicants Attorneys Association website at www.caaa.org. Good luck!
