Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
I reinjuryed my previously filled workman's comp back injury over the weekend. I was let go from this employers 6 months ago and currently unemployed. Can I file a claim or open the previous claim?

You will need a medical opinion as to whether you aggravated the prior injury or suffered a new one. You can not file a new claim because if it is a new injury it is not work related. if it is an aggravation then you may be entitled to a new period of TTD.
First, I'm not sure how you closed your previous claim. Did you sign any document leaving open your future medical? Next, what was your date of injury? How did you re-injure your back? What was the nature of your injury(ies)?
