Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
rejection of D/R
What is the acronym of D/R stand for? I received a letter stating that the D/R submitted was rejected due to case not being settled. What does that mean?

Re: rejection of D/R
A D/R usually refers to a Declaration of Readiness to proceed, and they can be rejected for a number of reasons. If a lien claimant filed a DR to collect on medical billing the filing would be premature because the case in chief must settle first.
