reopening aworkman comp claim

hello i hurt my back at work in 2003, i settled my case in 2005 i am in pain. can i reopen my case? have no income no medical insurence

You do not give me enough information to advice you properly. Within 5 years of the date of injury you can petition to Re-open but if you filed a comprise and release you settled your entire claim and can not get any more benefits for that injury. Also,if our pain was pain free for 2-3 years, then many Md's will say it is not from the work injury.
