Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
If I have retained the services of a workers compensation attorney, to handle my case, and I've advised my employer and their WC insurance carrier of this, can my employer continue to require that I speak to them directly?

They probably can as to issues of when you are going to return to work, what type of work could you do, medical treatment ok, other matters solely related to your work as opposed to medical condition. If you tell them you want to be left alone then you will give the impression that you are not really interested in coming back to work. WC is handled in a much more informal fashion than tort lawsuits and it has to be to work somewhat.

This is an issue I would ask your lawyer directly. Good luck.
