Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

rotator cuff surgery

had major rotator cuff surgery approx. 1 yr. ago after injury on job site for which co.'s insurance fully acknowledged & has to date been good. have returned to work on/off 3times since 11/06.recently had an ame & he has required another mri because he suspects problems exist & as well stated ins. co. will not like his request. how many times can I return to work on light duty before they send me packing? I want to work but in my trade there is only so much light duty one can do w/out asking his co-workers to cover. And now I'm worried that with the ame's request & the results will show I've either re-injured or have yet to recover from previous injury. for how long am I able to recieve ttd benefits since day one ?

Re: rotator cuff surgery

if the date of injury is post April 2004, then you get 104 weeks of TTD. After that you are on your own.
