Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

son's injury at work

he is going to doctors for his arm which i injured at work and a head concussion he incurred during workers comp doctor visit for his arm and passe out during a shot. Days he has not gone to work due to arm or head injury pain he is not compensated can he attain a attorney and sue? we dont know how long his head injury can last.
