Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
i had a stroke while working, PTP and QME REPORTS my side, still they dont want to pay me TTD so we filed a MSC, now Defiance wants to depose QME, Defiance took more than one month to contact a QME for an appointment for cross. basically Defiance trying to pushing back form paying me.. what can i do here please ????

Assuming that the qme did find you td, your lawyer should file for an expedited hearing immediately on the issues of td, 5813 penalties, and attorney's fees.

in rereading your question, I didn't notice that your attorney filed for a Msc. Was your case initially denied until the qme found your injury compensable? If so, you might be entitled to a lump sum of td. There are a few things that your lawyer might be able to do, but without anymore information, it's impossible to advise.
