Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
If a subject is gone over in a monthly safety meeting, and an employ gets injured on that subject,is the company held liable?(He has signed that he was present at the meeting) Does he have any recourse?

The company is still held liable regardless. However, it would be my guess that your employer is going to terminate you for violating their company policy. That said, I do recommend that you consult with a workers' compensation attorney to discuss your matter. I am off work today, so you can call me direct on my cell phone at 818.943.0462 to discuss your potential case.
Note that if you do call me, you may hear toddlers in the background.
Happy new years.
