Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Help with Summary Rating Determination

I had a accepted workmans comp case. I am not represented so I seen a QME from their list. I have cumulative neck and low back problems. My rating looks as if the two injuries were lumped in to one. This is how it reads.

7. 50%211G-53 57

12.1 50%211D-44 48 48

1/2 (9) 5

53 % disability

I work for the DMV in California I am presently off work

the return to work coordinator is not for sure if they will

be able to find my any thing. I've worked for the DMV for

apx 16 years. I personally feel my disability should have

been rated separtly. Why are they putting them together?

Can I get this changed? Should I be contacting an attorney?

Re: Help with Summary Rating Determination

Arguably you have two body parts injured which deserve componding. However, the insurance carrier will argue that it is an injury to the spine. Get represented immediately, your attorney will earn his 12%. Call me directly at (619) 222-3504.
