Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

taking a different job

i have been on disability since june 3,2008. I am currently in dispute w/ w/c and am waiting for new panel of doctors. my checks are coming in smaller amts and i have the opportunity for another job in different field. can i take it even though my situation is in limbo? I need income and health insurance.

You can't claim for temporary disability benefits and work at the same time. You may go back to work with restrictions or you may get partial temporary disability benefits which mey be more income for you. Call us at 213.388.7070 if you need representation.
