I Sprained my right ankle at work on march 25,2000, after seeing about 4 ortopedic
doctors, and doing a nerve conduction test, i learned that i have ''Tarsel Tunnel Nerve Damage Syndrome'' to my right ankle. I would like to know in these cases, what %
of permanent injury do i have for possible rating purposes, my average weekly earning
is $283.50 a week, my doctor says this a very rare type of nerve damage and says it may be 70-100% permanent disability, and he really against surgery, i have no feeling in my big toe, and ''tingling, severe, pin and neddles, electric shocks to my foot daily, can only walk when i take medicaton. what do you recocomend for my case, i don't have an attoney yet, do i need one? Have any of you ever heard od this problem? How much is this case potentially worth?

You need to obtain representation immediately. When you are deemed permanent and stationary it is critical to your final award to have your work restrictions opined by a doctor who is applicant oriented, and not one on your employer's insurance company payroll. The worker's compensation system is very adversial. The insuarance companies will get away with anything they can.
