Can a person file for Workmans Comp after they have been terminated from their job?

If the injury occured during employment, you should contact an attorney to assist you in filing the late claim. The insurance company will use any excuse to deny a claim. The worker's compensation system is very adversial. The insuarance companies will get away with anything they can. Attorney fees are limited by law to 9% to 12% of the final settlement or award.
