Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Termination during a open claim?

I have a open workers comp case right now for carpal tunnel. Can i be fired during the time my claim is open for something unrelated to my injury?

Even if you get fired, your case continues as long as you continue treatment until you become permanent and stationary. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.

Being injured at work does not preclude you from being fired for another reason. However, it is very common that employers find a reason to fire the injured worker. In order to determine whether or not you were fired because of your work injury, please call me at 1.877.505.INJURY for a free consultation.
