Terminationfor submit claim form to boss for signature

I was injured at work, so was my coworker. I submitted a claim form to the office for my bosses signature and him to return in one day as required. She faxed back to me verification of the form being received in office, but not by boss as he was out. The next day when he saw my form and her verification, he fired her, literally threw her out of office, and terminated me via email. I tunred in form on Monday 5/17, it is now 5/20 and I have no form back signed and still fired. Condition worse now more than ever (stress related). Any suggestions?

You have a civil lawsuit, as well as a workers compensation case for your injuries. The employer is not allowed to fire you for filing the claim -- or her, for notifying your boss of the injury. . . the facts you complain of are pretty outrageous -- I would want to know whether the employer has the money to pay a judgment after you sue him. . .
