Travelling for work

If an employee is injured in an automobile accident while travelling to a manditory training (several hundred miles outside of the employee's normal commute), would this fall under the criteria workman's compensation?

Re: Travelling for work

You have a worker's compensation case against the employer for the work-related injuries and you have a third party claim or lawsuit against the driver of the other vehicle as well. you should be compensated for your injuries (medical treatment, temporary disability benefits and permanent disability benefits) by employer eventhough you were at fault for causing the accident.
