Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
I went to urgent care on 5/6/14 and found out i have carpel tunnel on both of my hands.
I found out that my job put my position to hire that same day. Is this ilegal?

Not exactly 'illegal', but if you are terminated in direct response for requesting comp benefits , THAT is a violation of Labor Code 132(a).
It is a misdemeanor crime to discriminate (terminate, re-assign) a worker in retaliation to the workers' requesting workers comp benefits.
If all they did was post an opening, and you are not terminated nor re-assigned, the act of discrimination hasn't happened (yet).
