Done With Voc Rehab, now what?

I was injured in 2002. Off work since, rated at 65% in May. Went through my voc rehab and am now done with that. I have not heard a word from SCIF since June 2004, one month after my rating by WCAB . They requested me release every single Dr for last ten years. Did that. Haven't heard what they are going to do now. They have not objected to rating, havent sent me to QME or anything. I am not represented. I have made it clear I want to do a C and R so I can go to chiropractor and get relief from pain. I have mechanical rotation of hip among other problems in lower back. I have to take meds to keep level at a bearable tolerance of pain and then more meds to help stomach problems caused by meds for pain. I want to go back to chiro to help out but they won't cover it. I have requested several times that I want to do C and R and have asked my adjustor what is going on with case. I have asked for all med records they are using to develop my record. I have not heard anything in 9 months from them. Now that I am thru with Voc can they run me thru the wringer with QME or whatever? Or is it time for them to have to offer me a settlement. I am confused

Re: Done With Voc Rehab, now what?

You need to speak with the information and assistance office before you settle. You cannot get chiropractic treatment if you settle by C&R for a lump sum. A C&R closes out the claim entirely, with no future medical treatment.
