Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Wage Loss

I am in TPD and I started working according to WC doctor restrictions half of my time but with another Co. because my employer fired me after injury.

I am making less money and there is a wage loss that the Ins.Co. has to pay me.

I asked my lawyer to request it and according to him I have to do it myself. How is this possible if I am not supossed to talk to the Ins.Co? Who is suppossed to ask for the adjustment ? my lawyer or myself. I had to learn trough someone else that I was entitled to wage loss and my lawyer knew I was working and never told me about it. As he is never ''available'' and each time I call is ''on the other line'' last time I called, his secretary told me that the judge is the one that has to order the payment of wage loss adjustment. I am really confused and I don't know if I got the right lawyer.

Re: Wage Loss

Did your attorney file a 132a wrongful termination claim against your employer? Were you on temporary disability? Was your claim denied or accepted? Were you P&S'd?
