Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

My wife was injured on the job in CA in 2005, and received worker's comp & medical treatment. Her disablility rating was 0% by the treating physician (picked by the employer), and the DWC closed her case. But she has continued to suffer from the exact injury she was treated for. Is there any legal recourse after the DWC has closed your case?

First, how did you settle your case? How do you know it's closed? Assuming for a moment that your case is actually closed, the good news is that the employer's PTP gave you 0% P.D. This means that if you suffered a new injury with the same body part(s), there's no apportionment.

I do not believe that you live in my area, but if you call me, I can give you a name or two.
