I have had the same treating physician for the last 7 years. My adjustor says if I dont change drs, then they will not cover my bills. how can they do this? its my legal right under the labor code to change drs. after 30days....also its also in paper that they are supposed to cover my medical for the rest of my life...please help

Re: Help with work comp

The carrier can only force you to change doctors if you have been provided notice of their MPN and a request is made for a change. You can then object and gain an additional year of treatment with your current physician. That aside, the carrier can force you to change physicians by refusing to pay any doctor not in their MPN.
