Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

With a work comp injury in California, after seeing the employer's network physician, can I choose my own doctor that I trust for a second opinion and the surgery I need? It has been over a year since I filed the initial claim. Thank you.

If there is an MPN and no doctor has indicated that no further medical treatment is required then you can switch MPN physicians as you wish. You can also seek a second opinion if you disagree with the first MPN physician, and even a third.
