Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

work comp..2 states same injury

Injury in NM. Lifetime meds for lower back injury. Now in CA. Same injury, but has progressed in 11 years from original injury. When first insurance in NM got doctor notes they wrote and have now ended paying meds and bills. Will they be responsible for any of the upcoming bills? Operation? PPD?

Will I have to go to court to get them to pay. The insurance in CA could still deny my injury claim and may refuse to pay all of the bills since 60% of injury is due to first accident. Or is this something that the insurance carriers have their lawyers fight out in the future. Sure everything would be fine if there is no conflict about it but I'll be getting a bi-level fusion which must run mega bucks.

Any help thanks.

It seems that you have a NM case and I cannot advise you. However, you then mention a Ca. insurance company. Please contact my office so that I can gather the complete facts to your case. My telephone number is 818.385.0520.
