Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I had a work injury about 8 years ago. I was awarded 2,000 but i move a couple of times and just recently found the papers of my case and was reviewing them and noticed that the lawyer was awrded 32,000 is there anything that i can do about it now?. being that i only recieved 2,000 and my condition has worsened. I feel that the lawyer scammed me out of my money.

You must be misreading what the papers state. The WC judge personally decides the attorney fee and the percentage, except in very rare cases, would never be higher than 12%. You need to contact all involved and get it straightened out
