No, it should not be effected as the determination of benefits is based upon your status at the time of injury [if it was only a temporary job, then the rate of TTD would change by going down to the lowest TTD rate.

Layoffs having nothing to do with whether or not you qualify for workers compensation benefits. All that matters is whether you injured yourself while acting within the course and scope of your employment at the time you injured yourself.
