Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

work related illness

2 months ago i was feeling dizzy, nausea, heart palpitations, headaches, weak...basically feeling that feeling like someone told you some bad news. i went to my own doctor who then told me that ''it could be work-related stress''. the next day when i went to work i informed my supervisor of this in which she lessend my duties at work. i am an assistant manager at a fast food restaurant. this had been happening for 2 months off and on until i went to the hospital (E.R.) and they diagnosed me with anxiety attacks. Recently she needed me to sign some updated versions of medical provider network (provided by worker's comp.) papers explaining what to do in case of work related illnesses or injurys. my question is: shouldn't my employer have sent me to their selected clinic?
