I was off of work for one week due to an injury on the job, must I use my own vacation time to get paid or does workers compensation need to pay me?

the workers' comp insurance carrier should start making payments after you have missed three full days of work if you filed a DWC-1

The employer's worker's compensation carrier should start paying you temporary benefits at the rate of 2/3 of your regular salary. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.
