Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

a co worker called in because he had hurt his back at work the day before. supervisor said to stay home and to see a doctor . our supervisor told us what had happened and how our co worker hurt his back. our co worker came bake to work and is upset that our supervisor shared this information with us. our supervisors boss said that she can't do that. was our supervisior in the wrong?

She probably was wrong but there is no real punishment for it. If you were off sick because of some disease you would not want your co-workers told of it is it might be embarrassing.
