Re: worker comp vs private ins

You have to report your injury timely and allow your employer and its insurance carrier to examine the evidence related to your work-related injury. They need to review medical reports documenting your injury and investigate the causation of your injury to determine whether your injury is work-related. They may take your deposition. I strongly suggest that you wait to have the surgery and immediately report your work-related injury and contact a Worker's Compensation attorney. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation about your case.
