Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

workers comp disabilty payments

I have been on california disabilty for 6 months. I have had one back surgery and plan for a fusion. Now that the company has accepted my claim I am going to switch docters (then get the fusion) However the docter has released me to work with no restrictions. I dont understand how she can do that if I am goign to be getting a fusion. This will allow the company to stop my disabilty payments. Also, Ive read in california, once the payments stop you cannot collect for the same injury again. Is this true?

I am not surprised that the insurance company or employer sent you back to work with no restriction. You need to file a WCAB claim and application and proceed with your case. You need to receive future physical therapy, injection and benefits after your surgery. Call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.
