Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

If I am on workers comp and the doctor discharges me with a permanent lifting restriction of no more than 10lbs what happens if the employer does not have a position for me with those limitations?

They have to place you back on disability if they can't find you a position. They may request a QME doctor to determine your permanent disability or you can ever come back to this type of work. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.

I believe Mr. Moheban is referring to the situation where the physician has not yet decided your condition has reached a level of maximum improvement so that your condition can be determined permanent and stationary, so you would remain on TTD until you start working somewhere or you become P&S.
