Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Workers Comp

I was injured a couple of months

ago and it was caused by work

complications but my employer says

it wasn't an on the work injury.

After going back and forth with

them for 2 months I opted to go

onto state disability. They then

decided to try to cut off my benefits. When I came back to work

I was still in some pain and they

would not let me work with

restrictions. I am unsure of what to

do. Should I hire an attorney so I

can be able to be compensated, or

is their a way I can return to work

with restrictions.

Re: Workers Comp

If your employer has no light duty work for you, then you should be able to receive temporary disability banefits or receive EDD benefits and if your doctor is reluctant to do that then you need to change your doctor. We are experienced worker's compensation attorney. Feel free to call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.
