Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Worker's Comp Injury

I was injured on the job 9-1-05. It was my shoulder and I had surgery but still am in great pain. I went for a QME and the QME doc said that the initial doc did preform what he had written down, a right clavicle resection. According to the QME doc I should have part of my clavicle missing but my right clavilce is still whole and on top of that I have a bone spur on it. My question is do you think I should get a lawyer or at least speak to one as the county ( that's who I work for, doesn't seem to help me.

Yes, the QME report may have errors or the doctor may have not review the entire file and they are subject to cross-examination. If this was a defense QME, you may still be able to select a neutral doctor. You definitely need an experienced Worker's compensation attorney to represent you.
