Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

workers comp injury

i injured my left knee at work but did'nt report it immediately because I did'nt want employer to think I could'n work. When I needed surgery 2 months later, and filed a claim they denied the injury happened on the job. I have 2 witnesses that were working with me at the time of injury. How can I get my claim accepted by comp carrier?

Re: workers comp injury

A denial by comp carrier does not mean you have no case. There are different reasons they deny a case and later you can still settle your case.If you have medical evidence that you went to your own doctor or to hospital and what you told the doctor then those are admissible evidence supporting your claim.
