Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Can my workers comp leave affect my raise? I've always received great reviews and raises averaging around 5%. This year I received 1.9% and was told it was directly related to my time on Medical Leave related to my work injury. Is that legal?

Technically speaking, it's illegal for any discrimination, but these battles are hard fought. I find it unfortunate that you suffered a work-related injury in connection with a job that you really seem to enjoy.
