Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Went to a Workers Comp settlement conference. We settled and signed a State of CA Compromise and Release form DWC-CA 10214 with an settlement figure. Both parties had an attorney. 2 days later the other side AIG wanted to add a provision - that I resign. Is the document still valid if I do not resign?

I would argue that an agreement is an agreement, and a resignation was not part of the agreement. Have your lawyer file a declaration of readiness to proceed and let the judge decide the issues.
