workers comp travel

Am I legally allowed to travel out of state for a short visit, while on workers comp as long as I don't miss any doctors or therapy appointments?

Nothing prevents you from traveling. However, the defense from time to time videotapes injured workers. If you have restrictions precluding you from heavy lifting, then they get you on videotap throwing large luggage into the trunk of your car for your trip, this could harm your case. Another example would be, if you have restrictions precluding you from sitting for more than 30 minutes, but your drive is 3 hours, this could also harm your case.
