Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Workers Compensation Appeal

I owned a business many years ago and have since moved on with my life. I just got servered by board of appeals for uninsured employers fun, asking me to get in touch with them for an incident that happened 15 years ago in 1992. First How could they serve me after all these years? what should I do now?

There are statutes of limitations that my protect you. However, be very careful because your exposure could be substantial. I suggest that you consult with a comp attorney because the UEF will most likely file a civil complaint that my attach to your personal assets to cover comp costs. If you had a comp carrier, contact them.
