Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

Workers compensation

I was injured at work in CA & was treated for the past 16 months. In the meantime I was sent to a QME by the insurance who said that the pain I am going through for the past 12 months is 0% related to work injury & 4 months before that was 100% work related. This report forced the treating physician to discharge me of from the treatment stating that the injury is permanent & stationary. None of the attorneys are willing to take up the case now. Could you advise?

Re: Workers compensation

Why will no attorney take the case? What did the treating Dr. say was the cause of your pain? If this was an aggravation of an underlying asymptomatic problem then you are still entitled to treatment for it now causing you symptoms. You need to get a detailed explanation from your attorney what his/her view is as to the case and why they will not fight the QME's opinion. Then you need t find another WC lawyer.
