Worker's compensation - QME evaluation

I have a QME evaluation this week for a work related stress injury. Do I need to use sick time off or is it covered as work time?

Re: Worker's compensation - QME evaluation

Thank you for your question. If the insurance company set the exam, they should pay you for one day temporary disability. In addition to the TTD (which you will receive later) they MUST pay you mileage. The mileage check is to be sent prior to the appointment date. The milage rate is 50.5 cents per mile.

Thank you for your inquiry.
