The new law that went into effect January 2014 permits the insurance company to refuse your medication legally without the lawyer being permitted to challenge it (except for the worthless Independent Medical Review...and 90% of IMRs deny all treatment). COMPLAIN to your State Assemblyman, your State Senator and your Governor, THEY did this to you. The WCAB Judges WANT to award 'reasonable' medical treatment, but the Lawmakers your elected took that away and gave it to the insurance doctors and Maximus;;; and Maximus denies 90% of treatment requests no matter how the lawyer argues for you. If we all actively campaigned against all the state officials in power, we'd have a chance for change. Instead, people just overdose on their medication and go to sleep or kill themselves instead of banding together as a voting block.
