Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

workers comp/tendonitis in my right arm

I got injure at my job, I work with handicapp children, changing diapers, moving them and lifting them to the different equipment to facilitate. My job delay my claim due to first of all I went originally to my personal doctor thinking that I was going to get better with medication and 2 weeks pass and then I was in pain and I went back to my doctor and he gave me a note with lifting restrictions, wich was a problem since I need to lift 50 pounds or more according to my job description. I have been going to theraphy since 1/23/07 and I have not recieved a check. What are the legal things I can do to help my claim and for my job to pay the days I have been off duty

You need to file a claim and a WCAB application for adjudication to start the process. Your question is not very clear if you have reported your injury to the employer and whether employer or its insurance carrier have sent you to doctors.
