Legal Question in Workers Comp in California
Workman's Comp. and Child Support
I have injured my knee at work and am now in the process of Getting Workman's Comp. I am currentley paying child support directly out of my check for my 15yr old daughter. My question is will they automaticly deduct it from my W.C. Check, or will I be obligated to pay her on my own? I am current on my payments

Re: Workman's Comp. and Child Support
Generally a workers compensation judge will not order the insurance carrier to make payment directly for child support unless child services has filed a lien for past due payment.
