Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

workman's comp denied

I was injured 9/30/99, I was still within the primeter of my company's property when I broke my ankle. I was denied workman's comp becasue someone at my office said I was off property. I would like to know how can I appeal this and get compensated for pain and suffering?

Re: workman's comp denied

Hopefully by now you have retained an attorney to assist you in fighting for your right to benefits. If you were on the company property then you are right that this is covered in most instances. It is not surprising to hear that there is someone who is stating that you were "off" the property. Don't let this stop you from fighting.
