Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

workmens comp

I got hurt on the job in dec. I was just told by my boss that i only have 90 days to be on light duty then they would have to put on workmens comp. He also said if i cant do my regular dutys they will give me 2 weeks to find another job. Is all this true?

Your restrictions should be evaluated by AME or panel QME. Whether the restrictions are permanent or temporary are all depend on the findinds of AME or panel QME and you may have to change jobs or positions within the same company accordingly.

How many days you can be on light duty is a question of what your contract or union MOU says; the WCAB has no jurisdiction over that.
