Legal Question in Workers Comp in California

I was wrongfully demoted and forced transfer, during the layoff. The doctor took me out on severe stress. I have been using all most all my times(sick leave, holiday, vacation ect...) During my time out on stress leave, I had a blackout and fail on my right side and sustained a hand and risk injuries. I filed a complaint with EEOC and is pending review for employment discrimination. My Union Attorney also appealing the case with CAlhr Judge. I claimed that it was job related because they wrongfully demoted me with proves which clearly documented. I'm planning a lawsuit for employment discrimination, pending EEOC 's Notice of Right to Sue. My question Is: Can this be job related and worker's comp case? because this happened when I was working.
