buying an internet business
I live in Canada and plan to operate the business from Canada. the question, in buying a us based business (internet Web hosting and web design) which has physical assets and clients in Florida, do I need legal representation in Florida, or Both Florida and Canada, or can a Canadian lawyer handle the transaction?

Re: buying an internet business
You will need a lawyer in Florida because that is where the business and assets are. A Canadian lawyer could help structure the deal but the conveyance of assets will be done in Florida under US law.
